United Methodist Women
United Methodist women can be found participating in a variety activities, including district, local, and global missions. They also serve at funeral dinners, visit the sick, and prepare communion elements. UMWs meet at local, district, and conference levels to share knowledge and grow in mission. UMWs promote women’s rights in addition to these activities.
UMW Circles participate in local, state, and global missions
UMW Circles is a group of women committed to missions, fellowship, worship and service in the community. They meet monthly to work on missions projects that help local families and food shelters. Each UMW Circle offers different opportunities for service, including Bible study, prayer, and fellowship.
UMW Circles members can participate in local, state, or global missions. They might help prepare and serve meals for shut-ins, or deliver Christmas, Easter, or Thanksgiving baskets to families in dire need. In addition, they may help out at various activities throughout the year, including preparing communion elements and dedicating a baby blanket to a newly baptized child.
Each year, the UMW organizes many fundraisers. These include soup suppers, bake sale, and a Lenton Luncheon. These events generate funds for the local Mission and UMW Scholarship Fund.

Grace United Methodist Church’s history goes back over 150 years. It was founded by David and Elizabeth Foster, who moved to Kokomo in 1842. David established a trading station on Wildcat Creek where he was able to make a decent living trading with the Miami Indians. A few other settlers joined them eventually and a small settlement was formed of log cabins.

The United Methodist Women of St Mark meet monthly in two groups: the Unit or the Circle. The Circle meets every Tuesday. All women are welcome to attend the meetings.
